It was ok, they did have advance classes but that was basically it. The office staff was pretty nice and caring, and some of the teachers I had actually taught. The lunch was a basic school lunch. There were a few fun activities that the school had, but overall it was a pretty average experience.

Some teachers were really great ones. You could tell they were passionate about their work and were approachable, smart, and when they did mistakes when teaching they admitted it and fixed it.

A few teachers were approachable and close with students, but did not seem to care about teaching and just gave us work, and weren't always available for tutoring.

Overall my 3 years in jean mcclung middle school were great and half of it was because of my teachers.
One of my favorite experiences is when we had to do a project for my favorite class which was social studies.

We had to cook something that was made in the thirteen colonies.

A couple of friends and i got together and started planning and we made colonial stew and some type of meat in a shell that i forgot what it was called. It was a nice experience because i did something i never did before, and the greatest thing was seeing parents and classmates taste our food. Which was surprising because they actually liked it.
