What I would change is the strictness the school has on us. I understand a certain extent of being strict, but there’s no need to go above and beyond. Example : locking the restrooms and only leaving 2 open. The restrooms would be packed and we would be getting in trouble for being late, but we had no choice but to wait for stalls to be open. One thing I do enjoy is the amount of spirit that is starting to rise. Thanks to class of 2019 and 2021 (my class), we have made it known to others that it’s okay to have school spirit!
During my years at J.C. Harmon, I've made a lot of memories. I've built amazing relationships and unforgettable experiences. The teachers and staff are great, their very supportive and determined. I've learned a lot in all of my classes, but I wish I had more classes that would have benefitted me in the future. I would like to see changes in the way staff deals with students. There are a lot of troublesome students and over the top personalities. There are also problems with students fighting and the overall violent side of the school. I would appreciate if the staff could create an environment where the students feel energized and collected.
The teachers there are good, they strive for you to do great. We have had some instances of bulling or constant fighting. The school tries to stop bulling and fighting but it doesn't really work. Most of my teachers are great people and understand when you need A emotional break. I would recommend this school because of the great teachers and staff. They have great programs there from national honor society, LGBTQ , Gamers club, robotics there is a great verity there and most clubs are very excepting of everyone. some personal experiences I've had there are When i was in gamers club, I Made lots of friends there, Especially since I transferred there from another high school sophomore year of high school. I didn't really get bullied, sometimes in classes or in the hallway. The teachers usually try to stop the bulling when they see it, Fighting was also a thing to tie in with bulling, Kids would talk bad about each other and then end up fighting the next day. It got really bad.
