James Valley Christian School Reviews
Rating 3.72 out of 5 18 reviews
Excellent school with a top notch facility. Full range of sports and clubs, including National Honor Society. Teachers are state accredited, many with advanced degrees.
Loving environment with college prep academics.

I have gone to James Valley Christian School since I have been in second grade. I love the small classes that allow you to have close relationships with those around you. Our teachers are very willing to help you out in your personal life and care about your spiritual life as well. I do think that James Valley is very poor with helping out many of the children who struggle. Many of these kids are forced to leave, because of their failing grades. Overall, James Valley is an average school that has problems just like every other school. I believe that James Valley is a great place to send your child if you want them to get one on one time with a teacher that is willing to stay late and work with them.
I love how helpful and available all of the teachers strive to be. It really shows how much they care about the students. Having a Christian education has been very valuable for me. We are always learning about Jesus. We have a great fine arts program. Our One Act Play cast hasn't missed the state level competition in over 20 years. The school offers countless opportunities for students to participate in leadership from allowing students to speak in assemblies, to giving the student council responsibilities to prepare them for future leadership roles. The one drawback for me would be the lack of cultural diversity. There is a large immigrant population in our town, but that demographic is not strongly evident in the student body. This lack of diversity is no fault of the school's, it is just unfortunate that I, a white guy, don't have many fellow students who look different from me.
