JLHS is a very diverse school with almost 4,000 kids from all walks of life! Love the exposure we have to so much culture! We are our own Bay Area melting pot! We have some really amazing teachers (and some not-so-great, but what school doesn't?) whose impact has been invaluable.

Academically, I'd love to see more recognition for our students who shine... not just at Honors Convocation at the end of our high school career, but during the school year! I'd also appreciate having more counselors available to help college bound kiddos. The counselors seem to be very overextended.

I think I had a rough start at Logan because of my own lack of discipline in regards to academics, but so far, I'm going strong in my fourth year! I think there are both good and bad teachers here, but the school has many different courses that other schools don't have. I also think that there are a lot of intelligent people here, and Logan is where they build it off of. The school, in my opinion, is very diverse. There are students of many ethnicities here, some that people didn't even know exist. I am currently in my fourth year of band, and I would like to say that the band program is increasing their musical level as the years go by. Overall, I've had a good experience at Logan!
I like how diverse my school is, not just students but teachers and staff as well. My school provides opportunities most don't, a college and career center that is super helpful! I can go during lunch to receive help with college. I do want to see our counseling improve. The counselors do not have much to offer, little to no help. I also believe that our district cares about money more than the well being of students.
