There were a few things that stood out at Rhodes. One of those things is the AP courses available. There are many different options in math, english, sciences, etc. This allows students to take advanced classes as they choose and really excel in their high school for post-secondary education. Another thing I enjoyed about Rhodes was the diversity. There were races and religions from all around the globe and each class individual class had an array of each type of person. This really opened the world to each student and helped them experience the world and understand the love for everybody. Rhodes has a College Now office that helps students really concentrate on their college plans. This office and their advisors allow students to get the aid they need to go to college without worrying about financials and figure out what career path works best for them. Rhodes recently added two more separate schools to the building and it makes everything crowded..
I grew up as a only child in Cleveland Ohio from 1980 to 1998.
My parent's are Joanne & Kevin Blanchard. In 1997 I transferred my records to James Ford Rhodes High School as a 17 year old in the 11th grade. I was so happy to go there as I met and dated Di'onte Jordan who was 16 year's old. In 1998 we were Seniors in the 12th grade. We were always together, and spent our entire graduation weekend together. We went to grad night at Geauga Lake Amusement Park, Prom, and Graduation. On Friday May 29th, 1998 Dionte and I went by Limo to our Prom together. We wore blue and White; Di'onte wore a tux and I wore a gown. We left from my street Princeton Avenue with Friends and Family there. Our prom was held at Capilies Party Center in Wiffclif, Ohio from 6pm to 12 pm. We ate dinner, danced together, and took pictures that night and went home.
