So far, on my first year at James Campbell High School, it's been fun. Maybe I just got lucky, but most of the teachers I've had so far are pretty great! I learn a lot from their classes, and they make the subjects they teach pretty interesting, and they absolutely take time to assure that everyone understands.

There's such a variety of clubs and activities the school provides, to keep anyone's interests up and on their toes too! A few examples, but not limited to, would be Drama, Film, Photography, Band, Honors Society, DECA, AVID, and GSA. Including those, Archery, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Cheerleading, and many other sports are available too!

There's no avoiding the usual issues. Food is average at best, and there are days where people get into actual fights. However, they're minor and easy to take alternatives. But overall; My time here has been pretty enjoyable, and it allowed me, even as a Freshman, to grow as a person.

Overall, James Campbell High School is a very great school. It includes many academic programs such as AP and IB classes, as well as extracurricular activities such as AVID and sports which are essential for our vast and diverse student population. Although our food may need improvement, our learning environment keeps progressing by renovating our classrooms with fans and air conditioning, necessary for the hot weather! In addition, our faculty members and teachers are always encouraging our college readiness and skills like speaking and listening with precision and fluency. Also, good academics are always recognized and appreciated by the school and our parents!
Students attending James Campbell High School have different opportunities to join different clubs and activities. We also have different academies. In those academies, there are different programs provided for the students. For example, in the Teaching and Learning Academy, we were given an opportunity to get dual credit by taking early college for the education pathway. Overall, Campbell's academic is outstanding because it benefits students in many ways. Also, the diversity of ethnic backgrounds helps us come together as one and spread the aloha we share in school.
