I am currently a junior at James C. Enochs High School, and I would say I have an overall positive opinion of the school. This school provides their students with a lot of academic and volunteer opportunities, most of them coming from the wonderful college and work counselors. Teachers such as Ryan Farinha, Ana Salinas, and Wendy Brown are amazing instructors that can easily get any student invested in the curriculum they are teaching. An issue I have is the lack of SAT prep this school provides for their students. Other schools in the area have SAT prep classes after school, but yet this school provides none of those services. My family's financial standing is very average, so it's difficult for me to get help with preparing for SATs since we cannot afford a tutor like many of the other more well off students. Ignoring the negatives, I have formed wonderful memories at this school, and highly recommend any parent to send their child here.

Enoch’s High School is a safe and clean campus. The staff is friendly and very helpful. My experience while attending was very positive. There are a wide variety of groups and clubs that students can join. There is something for everyone if they want to get involved. The counseling staff is always helpful and accommodating. They keep you on track for your specific goals while in high school and the future. Enoch’s also offers specific classes to prepare you for your future outside of high school. For example, the Employment Opportunities class is excellent. Mrs. Price teaches you valuable lessons to prepare you for the outside world. There are two downfalls, the food, parking and traffic. Overall, Enoch’s High School was a great school to attend.
My experience at Enochs was decent. I feel like my high school years could’ve been better without the nagging about dress code. I feel like the school evolves around dress code more than the actual students. I’ve been dress coded for showing shoulders, which was ridiculous. My junior year, I had a teacher who would brag about how he still gets paid the same even if we fail. That sorta indicated that he didn’t care for our education. I remember so many students struggling in that class since that teacher expected us to know everything already. I feel like the school should monitor the teachers a bit more.
