James C. Enochs High school flourishes with representation. I am proud to go to a school that pertains to student interests such as culture, entertainment, academics, and sports all while providing us with an education. Although I am grateful to be attending Enochs, one thing that needs to change is how the school handles their budget. There are many programs that could use the extra cash. It could even be spent on something of value to the students such as a football field so home games can actually be at “home”! All in all, taxpayer money should not be spent on flat screen t.v.s in our cafeteria simply to pose as an enlarged menu projecting what lunch will be served that day.

I had a great experience at Enochs because it was a very clean and safe campus. Although it lacked diversity, I still felt very comfortable and educated. One thing I think we can improve is the cafeteria food, but besides that I loved the experience!
In my experience Enochs is a great school to go to. I had a lot of resources available to me and there is basically a way to get help in everything you are struggling with. They also offered a variety of ways to develop your interests such as clubs and different electives. The only thing that keeps me from giving Enochs a excellent is common core and the way that academics seem to matter then integrity or anything else. There is a lot of stress that comes with being a senior and on top of it all, teachers expect you to do boat loads of assignments that do not seem to anything. Our culture of grades being the most important things also seem to play a large role in my peers characters. Otherwise, most of our teachers and admin are great, and they really care about the students who go to Enochs which a lot more than some other students can say about their schools.
