There are a few extra classes; foriegn language, music, art, photography. But they are taken for granted.

The only thing most parents care about and show support for are the sports. If parents are involved with their child's grades it sure doesn't show.
I only know a select few teachers that are great at what they do and actually care about students. But for the most part teachers just do the bare minimum to get students out.
