The curriculum and classes in the school are high quality, challenging, and most if not all of the teachers are amazing at their job. The school offers various courses for freshman to take, and if the student meets the prerequisite qualifications, they also have fantastic higher level courses that will make your student apply themselves.
The school schedule overall is perfect, not cramped or stressful at all. Students here get all the help they need, and have time to go to tutoring for each of their classes at different times during the week for free.
The school is overall amazing, and will get you proper, fair, and authentic education.

My son is loving his time at BFA. He has taken advantage of Honors classes, firefighting at RD Anderson and is enrolled in JROTC. His Honors classes teachers have been engaging and very supportive. All of the teachers he has had have been encouraging. His only complaint are other students who are distracting, which results in loss of privileges for everyone. The principal and assistant principal are both very kind and genuinely good guys who want to see the kids succeed. I think the free period around lunch is pretty awesome and gives the kids a sense of freedom while also giving them a taste of what college is like. He also really enjoys the food at the cafeteria though I can't comment on how healthy it is. We both wish he could keep going to BFA instead of going over to the main high school which is where myself and his father went. We aren't so sure about Byrnes.
I love how the teachers dedicate themselves to the students. They don't hap them in work during the corona virus times. Mr. Morgan , the chorus teacher, is a great example of what every teacher should be like. Coach Brooks will work to make your mind think of different ways to look at the world. Like how Muslims pray 5 limes tward mecca. He tough me how to use roads to find out where to find it .
