Jalen rose Leadership Academy is an amazing school. This school is well family - oriented. Students are here to learn, and teachers are here to teach. Jalen Rose Leadership Academy is very big on students graduating, and finding the right pathway to success. I am a senior here at Jalen Rose, and throughout my whole high school years, its been a journey. I can’t wait to see what life has in stored for me after graduating Jalen Rose Leadership Academy.
My experience at JRLA was overall good I guess, but it wasn't all that great. The content is manageable, but you shouldn't expect to learn everything you need for the next level. The only way to prepare yourself is on your own time or if you ask one of the staff. Besides education, there are a good amount of sports, and the food is ok for the most part. Most of it was changed throughout my time there, but the one thing about the school is the consistency of teachers. As I progressed, numerous teachers left certain years, and it would mainly be the core content teachers. On the other hand, they do make sure you are ready to go to college if that is something you are considering. If you don't want to go to college, or you aren't even considering college, it's going to be a different experience for you, but they will help you find a way to the path you choose. In conclusion, JRLA is a good school, but the teaching system could be a little bit better.
Jalen Rose is an overall good school. They honestly do prepare you for secondary school, as it is a post-secondary school. I wouldn’t recommend attend there if you don’t plan on attend school after high school though because they push you to the full extend with the intention that you are attend a post-secondary school. They’ll push you to do good either way but the strong support system there is impeccable.
