Going to a public arts school was really an amazing experience. You don't have to worry about the "normal" high school issues or having to "fit in". Everyone who goes to this school is unique in their own way and accepting of everyone. Not only are the arts programs incredibly delivered, but the academic classes are also great. At JMW, you become a part of the family.

The school, though it's an art school, is academically challenging. In no way are academics sacrificed for art at this school. All the professors were passionate and kind. They put their all into their students. Not to mention, the school body is very small. Each student is able to develop close relationships with their professors, as well as other students.
I love Jacqueline M. Walsh because it is a very welcoming environment with wonderful staff and students. It is a small community, ensuring a better personal relationship with teachers. Overall, this school is a good place for students to learn and pursue a hobby or passion they love.
