Jacksonville Lighthouse Elementary School Reviews

We love Lighthouse Charter! The teachers are excellent and our children have excelled. At their previous school they were not being challenged and were bored. Here, students are pushed when they excel so that they are not held back. Other students who are having difficulties are helped by teachers (homeroom and specialized) so that they are not overlooked. Each student is helped to their ability. The school also has a great, fun, healthy atmosphere closely monitored by the teachers, administration, and culture coordinator that makes the students comfortable and encouraged to learn. They have programs for students and their parents to grow character not only through the school, but at home as well. Student test scores and overall achievement show that the efforts that the teachers are making have been successful in getting the students to learn and grow.

We love everything about JLCS main campus. Our son’s teachers have all been amazing, the school is small and everyone knows him. The teachers push him to do well and he’s a top performer. They accommodate all kids at whatever level they come in. You couldn’t ask for a better elementary experience. One point of note, there are many many return teachers that are not in their first or second year of teaching, so that statistic is wrong.
