Jackson Hole High School has been a great experience. The school is constantly growing, some teachers were born and raised here and have come back after their college experiences. I am part of soccer, mountaineering, and other social clubs, and each and every one of them is very inclusive. It is my senior year and I am very pleased with the experience I've gained because of this school, definitely the best in the state!
Jackson Hole High School (JHHS) is an amazing public school, academically. There are a variety of AP courses offered, including AP Psychology and AP Environmental Sciences, a lot of great electives like forensics and bioengineering, and plenty of clubs ranging from robotics to astronomy. The teachers are great, and with the small size of the school, it is easy to bond with teachers.
However, JHHS has one large flaw. It resides in a party town. If you attend JHHS, there is a very good chance you will partake in some form of underage drinking/drug usage. The amount of money in the town results in a large amount of easily obtained alcohol/drugs. The students won't admit it, but the majority of them have partook in some form of substance abuse in their high school years.
To be fair, JHHS does address these issues. Unfortunately, they have yet to come up with any real solutions.

One thing that really stood out to me from other high schools was all the support that was offered to all students. There really was a teacher there to help every student when needed. For example they had ESL classes for non native speakers, also not to mention that this school even offered translators for those non english speaking students. These teachers where their to guide and make the students learning experience better. Finally I know some of the teacher would be ok if you reached out and asked for help during the weekends.
