Jackson High School Reviews
Rating 3.94 out of 5 83 reviews
I graduated from Jackson High School about a few weeks ago and I can very proudly say that I enjoyed my time there. I attended the school all 4 years and I really enjoyed the experience there. The teachers and staff are all amazing, they are kind and they FOR SURE care without a doubt. Even though it was a public school I always felt safe there. There was never really drama there it was always a calm and collective atmosphere when you walk into the building. When it comes to the school sports, they really adore their team members and the support could bounce off the wall. Education wise, there were more than enough teachers for each subject at the school, including extra subjects like Public Safety or Chorus. I attended FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) for 3 years while attending the school and I can say that the 2 wonderful teachers that were over that program really took that job proudly and seriously and they very much enjoyed it. I’m very proud to say that I’m an Alumni.
I am a former cheerleader and softball player at Jackson High School. I’d have to say the school spirit was my absolute favorite! If you attended Jackson High then you would understand. The love for the sports, student athletes, and games. Throughout my own county Jackson High School has the best school spirit. Everyone treated Jackson High School like you’d do your parents. You may complain or fuss about them but you’ll never let anybody else talk negatively about the school. There we were one happy, fun filled family! On the other hand I can say Jackson High School fails when it comes to showing favorites and giving students more knowledge about the outside world other than college or the military. There’s life skills that should be taught at Jackson High that wasn’t such as learning about taxes, insurance etc. Overall I’d encourage anybody staying close to the Clarke County area to choose any school from Jackson to attend K-12th.

Jackson High School will always hold a special place in my heart. The teachers are wonderful and are always ready to help. During my four years at Jackson High School I learned so much, not only academically, but emotionally. My classmates were like siblings and my teachers as parents. We have amazing sports teams and great fans. When I was a member of the Lady Aggies volleyball team we always had fans in our stands cheering us on. If I had the option to redo high school, I would do it based on the fact of how well Jackson High School treated me. There was always a facility member there when you needed help, no matter what the issue was. I would recommend Jackson High School to anyone who asked.
