I've spent all of my high school life at this school. In my opinion, this high school offers many different types of courses high schoolers would pursue for their future major or career, such as childhood development, JROTC, Engineering academy, and Fashion/Apparel. The diversity of this school is high so making friends is always an easy start! The only major downfall of this school is the administrators and the incredibly strict authority over what students get to do for events such as prom, yearbooks, graduation, and other celebrations.
Jack Britt is an incredible school. The teachers care about your education, the counselors care about your future. They want you to succeed and come out as a quality individual. This is due to the pristine quality standards Jack Britt holds for its students. Sports, coaches, librarians, all other staff were sensational and brought positivity to the school environment. Coaches kept the fellow students head high, while being able to provide excellent leadership/motivation to allow us success in our matches. Always felt safe attending the high school, entering the building knowing the day is well cared for by our prestigious educators and head office. Special shoutout to the excellent engineering program we have, the Integrated Systems Technology Academy.
Jack Britt has been a wonderful school to attend. The teachers and administration have encouraged and challenged us greatly to make sure we succeed. Without the challenges I have faced I would not be the student I am today. Jack Britt has helped to mold me into the successful and educated person I am becoming. Yes, there are some downsides such as a strict dress code and no phones at lunch, but every school has downsides. Jack Britt is a place where I enjoy going to school everyday(except for when I stay up late the night before school and want to sleep in). They try to make sure everyone is included such as making sure kids have a place to sit at lunch if they are lonely. Being a shy kid growing up, Britt has helped me to make new friends and become involved in after school activities. As a senior about to leave Jack Britt, I can say that I’ve had a wonderful time and that it is GREAT to be a BUCCANEER!
