Ivy Hall Academy Reviews

My daughter was enrolled at Ivy Hall about two years ago and it has been the best experience. Ivy Hall has exceeded all of our expectations. Everyday when my daughter comes home she has so many things to tell us all about her day and the various things she has learned. As a parent it truly feels so good knowing that your child is in a happy, safe and engaging environment everyday. Our daughter’s confidence has grown exponentially ever since attending Ivy Hall. The small class size is wonderful as it ensures that every child receives the individual attention that they require. I also love that ivy hall focuses on community projects. It always has the children looking outward at their communities and trying to understand how they can help with issues that exist worldwide as well as in their own communities. In short, Ivy Hall is the best! We have absolutely loved every aspect of our experience with them thus far.
This was my daughter’s first year of preschool. She has had the best experience! Better than I could have imagined. The teachers are all fabulous, and the school is constantly doing amazing things like service projects, cool fundraisers, educational fairs etc. I love Ivy Hall!
We love Ivy Hall! It's a small school that has exceeded my expectations. Love the teachers here as they truly care about each child and get to know them. I'm well informed as a parent of what is going on and what my child is learning. Love that my child is progressing so much better here than the last school we had her in.
We moved our kids to Ivy Hall 4 years ago after problems at another school and have never looked back. They have thrived and have loved going to school. They learn through classwork and group projects that STAY at school so parents don't ever do the work for their kids. Teachers and staff are in direct contact with parents, so issues can be resolved quickly and efficiently. Teachers often take the classes on field trips to enhance learning. It has been fun watching our children grow and develop and become leaders at the school as they transition to the older grades.
We have had 3 children at Ivy Hall and have had an outstanding experience at Ivy Hall. The school has provided experiences that just aren’t available at other schools in the area. The class sizes are small and allow for an education that is tailored for the individual while emphasizing working as part of a group. Areas of study are included that do not get much attention at other schools simply because the efficiency of a smaller class allows for more time to actually learn and cover more. Additionally, Ivy Hall is a safe place.
Values of personal responsibility and leadership are emphasized and interwoven in the curriculum. The environment is very caring and we feel like our children are nurtured as individuals. The teachers have been fantastic. We are very grateful their dedication and for the hours spent in preparation to teach. The teachers are largely responsive to any concerns we have and there is open communication between the teachers and parents.

We have had nothing but the best experiences with Ivy Hall! Our kids have loved their teachers and grow so much academically every year. Teachers are easy and wonderful to talk to if we ever have concerns or questions. Needless to say, we love Ivy Hall!
We love Ivy Hall Academy! Our three kids have had a very positive experience while attending there. The administration and teachers have made a positive and lasting impression.
I love Ivy Hall! The class sizes are small so the students get more personal attention and work on projects together. They work together, with the teacher, to learn as a group, and the teachers are in direct contact with parents (which is AWESOME!!!). They teach the 7 Habits, leadership, and citizenship. Their education is multifaceted and works on developing the whole child, which is fabulous for children who may struggle to learn. They can be recognized for their strengths and the teachers are very willing to help each child succeed and thrive. There is a sense of school-wide community and friendship. The older students adore the younger students and vice versa. There is no bullying, laughing at others, or tripping in the hallway. Students are taught and expected to treat others with kindness, understanding and respect. They are taught to work hard and keep trying, even when things are hard.
