At ims the food is not very good it’s either pizza or whatever gross lunch they have. Some lunches are good though. While the academics are good the teachers and adults focus on the wrong thing, if a kid is chewing gum they’ll yell at the student to spit it out and maybe give them an odr but when some is being bullied right in front of a teacher! They do nothing. I’ve witnessed this happen so I’m talking from experience
The staffs and teachers are very friendly and the students are hardworking. The student population is diverse. I especially loved the spirit weeks and after school clubs. Issaquah Middle School and the Issaquah school district is one of the academically competing district in Washington.
Really immersive experience here in terms of Language Arts, Social Studies and Science; some of the other classes offered were mediocre or trivial. I think I probably gave a lower rating for facilities because I was here when this place had an outdoor campus (in Washington!)
