Islamic School of Muslim Educational Trust (MET) Reviews

2 reviews
MET provides an exceptional environment for students, devoid of typical high school distractions. The extremely small student population allows for students and teachers to establish close relationships and an efficient learning environment because of the individual attention students receive. Unfortunately, the administration has issues addressing student complaints about how the school is run and the lack of extra-curricular activities available. The school also makes it very difficult for students to take higher level courses to excel in subjects.

I spent my entire life from age 3 to 18 at ISMET and while I have a lot of fond memories of the students and teachers, the management is disorganized and often villainous. They shrug student requests off with the excuse that there is "limited resources," but much of the donations and funding is funneled into the community center that MET runs, leaving students without. They often like to point fingers at students, parents, and employees rather than at flaws in their own management, and I'd like to see the administration get over themselves to allow the school to prosper accordingly.
