Amazing school experience that prepared me for high school. I loved the sense of community and the resources there to help me grow as a student.
IS 75 is what you expect from a middle school. It’s not outstanding except in music and arts, but it’s not bad in any way.
My time at this school was nothing but painful as the teachers had ZERO respect for me and my peers (most not all) and there was no guidelines on punishing the students when something went wrong it was 100% teachers digression and 100% biased. It is a VERY political school where teachers are allowed to instruct students in any path they feel correct in which it may be having lessons on absurd topics following the teacher's point of view, and disagreeing 9 out of 10 times resulted in a drop in overall grade! The staff is very respectable and friendly for the most part as well as lunch staff. overall the school was a great opportunity for your child to meet new people and learn new things but I don't feel it may be the right path for many "open-minded" students as they will probably face a lot of things they don't agree with. I spent my 3 years here and I graduated 2019 and now I am on a better path enrolled in sea (catholic school). Thank You for your time! DISGUSTING LIBERAL OPINIONS!
It's great with all the club's and the acedem8's you realy learn a lot here while still having fun and everyone is included
I loved going here everyday, I miss it so so much. All my friends were here, and overall it was safe and loving. I got close with all the teachers because of the scholars program which then put me ahead in high school. Enjoy it while touching attend :)
Everyone I believe tries to focus ont he important stuff the students and stay away from negativity.
We enjoy going to games and having fun.
There are a number of groups if you are willing you have options.
I have found all teachers including principal and vice principals to respond in a timely matter to all my concerns. I truly belive they have the children's best interest as their top goals.
