Irvington Community School Reviews
Rating 3.56 out of 5 90 reviews
The school used to be great and very welcoming, but after the new CEO took over in 2022 everything changed. The environment is completely different now. The staff is not treated well by administration at both the elementary building and corporate level which has caused good teachers to leave. The staff turn over rate is high and leads to inconsistence for the students. I would not send my children here.
I love this school. The environment is very warm and welcoming, if there are bullies, they're dealt with quickly, and the staff are amazing people that actually care.
The staff were attentive and good, but as for the student body. As from my experience you'll meet some interesting people there but it has become the dumping ground for some problem kids of other districts. That said, they were given the time and attention needed to do well. Other than that it was pretty good.
