International School of Tegucigalpa Reviews
Rating 2.5 out of 5 2 reviews
IST is a very welcoming institute; it creates a bond with every family that arrives. Although, sometimes their teachers cannot be so much of help as they generalize their students and think they all are rich, bad-mannered youngsters just because of which school they attend and some can be quite rude when trying to "teach." However, all of my pre-k and elementary teachers were great, and my middle and high school english, math, spanish, and science teachers were incredible.
The first point that I need to make clear is that this institution is in the wrong category. It is not located in Florida and it is not a US institution, so it should not have ratings in the Florida section. From my experience, this is not a welcoming institute and does not create a bond with every family. There's a lot of bullying going on in here, recognition is given to the wrong people. Sometimes, teachers and discipline instructors would take part in generalized behavior and would accuse people wrongfully. Recognitions would be given to people that would be doing bad in classes and out of nowhere they would receive awards, many of them by cheating. A lot of people receive benefits from relatives that are part of the system and there have been occasions that they act like they do something so that people will say that they worry about the students, but they have graduated people that have been found to be involved in bad things.
