International School of Los Angeles / Lycée International (LILA) - Orange County Reviews

We have three children enrolled at LILA, this is our 9th year. If you are looking for a bilingual program in an international environment, you must visit this campus. The teachers are outstanding, 3 of them have been awarded in the top 25 best teachers by OC parenting. The academic program is rigorous and the children develop a mental ability to reason in both languages that surpasses any monolingual school. The curriculum is diverse with art and music, in no other school will the children learn who Monet and Picasso are in Kindergarten! Parents enter the school with high expectations and teachers and staff deliver. Children later move on to other private schools and into the public system with ease. LILA should be on every parent's list to consider!

This is our 6th year at LILA Orange County and we have had an exceptionally positive educational experience. The administration and teachers care deeply about the students and do an outstanding job academically and in supporting the emotional and social development of the children.

Our daughter has excelled in both French and English. She loves school and is eager to learn. We see her exposure to other languages and cultures preparing her to thrive in an interconnected world.

The community of families has also been an important part of our experience at LILA. Families at LILA are there for reasons that align with what motivated us - bilingual education, language immersion, diversity, academics, emphasis on emotional and social development.

6 years in we are thrilled with the educational experience and look forward to the years to come.
True immersion - you know the kind where math and science are done in the non-English language. Nurturing. This school pulls out the best of my child while encouraging him to have an open heart and and an open mind. My son tested for the GATE program but this amazing school was the perfect choice for him from PS - 8th. The facilities aren't spectacular, the magic is in the classroom. Best investment ever.
