The International School of Los Angeles’ international high school program is a carefully mapped trajectory that includes 2 years of preparation for entrance into the School’s 2-year accredited International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme.

Language Acquisition in the International Track

Every student in the International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme studies at least two languages: their best language and other languages taught as a requirement of the program. The School offers French and Spanish on a continued basis, while Mandarin, German, Japanese, and English are made available on a case-by-case basis. Prior knowledge of a second language is not required.
