The academics in this High School leaves much to be desired. Currently, the math department is mediocre and covers very little, especially in the first two years of High School. Hopefully, this will change in the future. On the flip side, the sciences and language/literature classes are rigorous. All teachers are available for office hours and most of them genuinely care about how you do in their class.

I have been very happy with ISB for my children. We've been there since Kindergarten and we are all glad to have stayed. We chose the school because we wanted our children to be more globally aware and to have the opportunity to connect with students from all over the world - not to mention to become bilingual. We've been very happy with the teachers and with the academics. We know our children are more than prepared to head off to college.
