International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) is a free public charter school serving more than 22,000 K-12 students at 24 campuses in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and College Station areas.
The mission of ILTexas is to prepare students for exceptional leadership

During the pandemic year this school was better equipped than most other charter schools, so the transition to online school was a bit easier. Currently, the school has opened up its doors to a new reconstructed campus. The school offers quite a variety of AP courses as well as accommodations for special need students. An overwhelming majority of teachers actually care for the education of their students. Fights do happen now and then like any public high school, but there is a procedure of punishments the school follows for such cases. Something to point out is that like other ILT schools, this school also offers the mandatory Spanish, English, and Chinese courses. There is also a set amount of community service hours requirement for graduation. As of 2023 the majority of students are Hispanics with African Americans in second place.
While the teachers at this school may be knowledgeable and skilled, the school's overall performance is lacking. The school's administration appears to be overly focused on enforcing discipline rather than creating a positive learning environment.
The school's curriculum are outdated, with limited opportunities for creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. However, the quality of the teachers may help compensate for the lack of innovation in the curriculum.

I would techincally rate this a 4.5 stars.It has good opputunities like after school activities like Chess/Gaming club,Dance,Book,and other fine arts.I personally participate and grow to find friends that have similar intrest.Another factor is Academics, they have JRTOC and AP classes as well as career based like AV production or Health.I also like the uniform it has a private school vibe.The school is mostly consisted of minority students (Latinos and African/Black) with teacher being a bit more diverse like our chinese teachers.Here we learn the three languages English,SPanish,and Chinese and cannot be replaced unless there is core classes missing.Finally this school is not a violent school,everyone mostly minds there buisness and have a decent idea how to treat others. However,it doesnt earn its full five stars becuase we dont use the lockers that are in the hallway? It'll be very useful if at least the upperclassmen gets to use them.Also the food needs to be better.
