International Leadership of Texas - Garland High School Reviews
Rating 3.88 out of 5 57 reviews
The worst thing in this school is about communication in the front desk with parent. They never have the information about eagle academy of the students. It takes Long time to get this information. This school need more communication parent with teachers. Tutoring are helpful for students. The students need more motivation from teachers. Some substitute teachers are not very confident with their assignations. Some students need to be more rispectful with other students and teachers. The behavior of some students it looks like the behavior of a little boy. Most of the teachers are doing a very good job. In general this school is better than others high schools because here is a place where students feel very confortable about bullng, drugs or others worries. The school is small: about 500 students.
International Leadership of Texas is a public charter school that provides students with college readiness skills, classes, and language abilities. Students learn three languages daily; English, Spanish, and mandarin with excellent teachers and resources both in the classroom and online. At school students have countless opportunities to get involved with the school and their community via starting clubs, hosting assemblies, earning service hours, or just helping out. For example, local students are able to join the Mentor Program to buddy up with an international student. This way, both students can learn about each other's culture, the campus, and school activities, and become great friends.
My experience in ILT has been the best experience because the school has help me push myself to achieve my goals. This school has been a pain with the work the dress code but it’s all paying off because it’s teaching me how to be prepared when I go interview a job or how to be prepared to go to collage. One of the things that I love about this school it that they motivate you they push you and they stress you out but all for a good cause, the reason I say state this is to inform you that ILT cares about their students future they want students to achieve their goals not just mentally but physically to. This school has taught me a lot from one thing to an other like pushing myself to do the right thing, pushing myself to achieve my main goals. I’ve had a lot of encounters with students who graduated and they are happy and excited in the school that they have been accepted to and all of that is thanks to ILT. ILT is a school that is strict but it will help you in the future.
