My kids have been at ILT since it opened in our area. As a parent, I liked the smaller school feel with all the teachers knowing your name, versus the big public high schools in the area.
The school had a few bumps in the beginning, being a new school and all, but now has a great system in place.
Spanish and Mandarin Chinese are required classes for all students.
The opportunity to travel to China and Spain, along with the trips at the end of 7th and 8th grade are wonderful!
Although my kids miss a few things they may have had at a public high school, they’re very happy here.
Highly recommend.

It is a small, new school with the 17-18 year having about ~350 students. As being new, there are problems that new schools face. Charter schools are less funded than public schools, so resources isn't that plentiful and a big public school. Athletic wise, there is enough athletes and talant to dominate the charter league but slowly placing themselves in the public UIL League and private school league to make a new name for themselves in town and turn heads. Academics wise, eagle academy encourages everyone to turn in work so there is no zeros, and a small school gives teachers a closer relationship with the students. Pep rallies and school spirit is kind of dead with a small hard to please crowd. Overall, if one enjoys a small school with relationships built like family through struggles together, this is a good place to be.
At International Leadership of Texas Keller (ILT) the students and staff are very nice and likes to make u feel like your all family. At ILT you learn Mandarin Chinese and Spanish which helps you a lot because, study shows those are going to be the next top languages. Also at ILT you are taught leadership skills at a young age and you also start getting into your majors so if it isn't what you expect you can do something else. That's so when it's time for you to go to college you can focus on your number one major.
