Overall the teachers are very inspiring. When you come to them with your problem they find ways to help or at least comfort you. Especially the staff for example the security and the lunch ladies are amazing. From just listening to goofy comments to having serious real world conversations. Some people may need a little work on their attitude or speaking ways but those who are sweet never fail at all. Some teachers are so sweet and humble you couldn’t bare to hear someone disrespect them. The students aren’t bad but people in general isn’t my thing. But the people I do like make it so fun and nice to be learning or just bare wit being there for so long. Of course like other schools they aren’t perfect and they do need to work on some things and maybe even lower down some people importance but besides the hand full of ignorant people it’s a great place. I’ve really enjoyed the time being here and the people I’ve known are really great.
My experience since I’ve been here has been nothing but enlightening. The multitude of cultures and heritages let me catch a fresh breath from the typical learning environment. The teachers here find a way to keep an interesting, open minded and attentive class no matter where I go. The sports scene may not be that good but no faculty cares more about their students than the International High school of New Orleans
I am very dissatisfied with the way this school handled everything. Especially the senior counselor. For one she did not want to send transcripts, unnecessarily threatened students graduation and was just incompetent all together. Also, the school just doesn't treat its' students right at all. They also come up with unnecessary rules instead of focusing on the actual problem at hand. The only thing that is good about the school are the cultural celebrations.
