Interlochen Arts Academy Reviews
Always for the International students are really hard if we don't know the English as a second language but we just do our best.
This Academy helped me to improve like a person and a musician and all teacher are kindness and we have differents forms of support, I really like this place because It was my dream for many years and now I'm studying here
However, the school lacks real racial diversity beyond relatively privileged international students and its lack of accessibility to disabled people is often in detriment to students.
Additionally, the school tends to have disciplinary issues, transparently favoring students who pay higher tuitions with lighter punishments and punishing drug infractions far more harshly than students perpetrating sexual harassment or assault. Additionally, the school struggles to punish any students for any infractions in long-lasting impactful ways beyond expulsion.
Though ultimately, the opportunities Interlochen provides to young students in the arts cannot be understated and it provides a largely safe environment for students to pursue their artistic futures.
