Inter-Lakes High School Reviews
Rating 3.45 out of 5 94 reviews
This school system takes students from three different towns and does not have the budget to support them all. They also are inflexible and outright ignore IEPs. They won't do anything about bullying but God forbid your skirt is slightly too short in your opinion. All of the sudden, they have the time, energy, and resources to jump all over your for a dress code violation. They faculty and staff are all miserable human beings.
There is some diversity, but a lot of judgement from peers. Teachers rarely do anything to stop a bad situation until something tragic happens. Teachers and counselors only listen to you about mental health issues if you have a 504 plan or an IEP. Everyone else is disregarded.
Inter-Lakes is a school that I believe should inspire other schools. There is little to no bullying, they have many support groups or grief, drug use, alcohol use, LGBTQIA+ members and alleys, and more. They show that they truly care about their students and want to do everything in their power to give them a proper education. In New Hampshire, I think Inter-Lakes is the best out of every single one. Inter-Lakes may have its faults that include short lunches and office hours, the amount of homework each night, and the lack of events that involve 7th and 8th grade with the high school. This can all be solved easily if as students we all voice our opinions. In conclusion, Inter-Lakes is an amazing school with countless opportunities as a student.
