InTech Collegiate Academy Reviews
Rating 4.68 out of 5 79 reviews
Teachers are amazing! Super approachable, very understanding when it comes to absences and late work, and always willing to work with students. The coursework is rigorous and high-quality work is expected. The school is small enough to assign every student their own laptop, mouse, charger, and computer bag; their IT Desk hands all technical problems. The only downside is that homework can be difficult, overwhelming, and/or time-consuming and sometimes due dates are wacky or unusual.
InTech was amazing! The teachers all really care about their students, and they're knowledgeable about what they teach. The student body is so small that everyone knows each other, and most everyone gets along really well, even across grades.
InTech is very friendly to LGBTQ+ students, students with learning disabilities, and otherwise "nerdy" or "weird" students. The community is very accepting of a wide variety of interests, personalities, and lifestyles, including the teachers.
We're also able to take classes at Utah State University starting our junior year and covered with a scholarship from InTech, so that means we have access to a huge course catalog and have the opportunity to start earning significant amounts of college credit starting when we're ~16.
Because of the small school size, we don't have a lot of options for clubs and none for sports or music, but we're able to participate in sports/music/other clubs at what would be district high school.

Students at InTech can take advantage of several great opportunities and programs available. Complete general education courses and you are free to register for classes that will help you excel in college or vocational/trade school.
Concurrent enrollment and early college programs test your work ethic and perseverance through college-level courses that count toward your major and allow you to graduate sooner. Apply to Career Technical Education (CTE) classes to get trained for a job or career, or enroll at Bridgerland Technical College and study towards a certificate. At school, these programs are affordable.
Clubs like FBLA, Model UN, and NHS are available.
The small school size brings students and faculty together. Teachers and counselors are willing to help anyone who is struggling. Principal Stanger cares for the success and readiness of his students.
InTech is challenging, but if you're willing to study hard and smart, the rewards and perks it offers are worth reaping.
