My experience thus far has been amazing. The staff genuinely care about you, your learning, and future. You have the opportunity to take classes above any other high school student in the county on a university ( East Carolina University ) campus. They have provided me will the resources I have needed and will need so far.
As a rising senior at IECHS, I have been at the school in it's first years, and my experience in these five years have been wonderful. Innovation Early College has been my secondary home in a sense, with a support system of staff members and a few peers turned friends. Anything I could possibly complain about have been revised in the more recent years, and it'd be wrong of me to do so considering how unique of an experience I have been given here. In summary, my experience has been fairly positive!
Overall, the students and teachers create a very good environment . I would definitely say that you need to make sure that you have your schedule in order. Look ahead and make sure your classes will transfer, because there is a lot of confusion and disorganization when it comes to that. However, there are a lot of great resources when it comes to wanting to succeed in your classes and get ahead.
Innovation Early College has allowed me to pursue and chase after my dreams. The staff and administrators are truly supportive and want to see everyone succeed. The effort and constant check in on every student makes this school family oriented. Family is the root of our school and it is consistently showed in everything we do. No matter your background or current situation you are accepted. Every class has a different atmospheric vibe which enhances you learning ability. At this school we have experienced so many firsts together.
It has its up and downs like any school but I really enjoyed it. Everyone is super understanding and open to all perspectives.
Very welcoming and entertains student feedback. Keeps students involved and excited for a day at school. They always want to make sure that everyone stays engaged and particpates.
IECHS is a good school, that helps student whenever they are in trouble and they also inform students of opportunities that are available for them. They get you prep for college through AVID and in classes. Teachers are really engaging and helpful. if you need any help or advice they are always there to help. The Administration is very friendly, easy-going, and approachable. When you talk to tell you don't feel scared or afraid because they are very easy to talk to even if you just want to have a friendly conversation.
Innovation Early College is a fairly new High School in Greenville and it offers a safe space for diverse people and open-minded conversations among both students and staff. Speaking of staff it offers extremely Qualified staff in each and every class, Not to mention You get free college credits for East Carolina University that are transferable of course.
Innovation Early College High School has equipped me with the tools to successfully navigate not only college life but the career world and interpersonal relationships; as a First-Year graduate student from IECHS I have been able to create the culture in my school while also excelling in college level courses thanks to school administration and school staff!
I enjoy the school and the teachers. The curriculum is great and they focus on building people skills.
The teachers are really supportive and understanding. There’s no sports programs because it is an early college. You are allowed to use ECU’s facilities and resources. All high school classes are honors or AP.
Great! it's a good school with very good teachers and I love it and everything is awesome I'm actually a teacher.
Since the school is very new there are many opportunities to make your mark throughout the school. All the teachers are approachable and friendly. The only thing that I would like to be different would be an opportunity to do more athletics at the school or collaborations with other schools.
