I like mostly everything about my school. All of the teachers are excellent teachers, they help you learn everything you need to know and if your not understanding something they put it in a way where you can understanding and change it to your liking. It's all personalized, they stick to your pace and are amazing multi taskers. The school offers all students opportunities like no other and see to it that everyone have a opportunity to participate in them which helps us student develop or improve skills that we need in the real world. Also many of us students are able to trust teachers enough to talk to them about almost any and everything and they motivate us to believe in ourselves, never give up and never ever to be afraid to try something new.
My freshman year was great, the school enrolled us into NAF (national academy of finance) courses as well as hooked us all up with mentors. The mentor-ship coordinator that worked with my school that year took her time to get to know each student and their interests and would search for a mentor that would be most beneficial for them. At the time I personally was into music production, and one day while our mentor-ship coordinator was at a pizza place, there was a local recording artist preforming at the pizza place and the mentor-ship coordinator asked her to come and mentor one of the students at IDEA. I was paired up with my mentor four years ago and her and I still speak on a daily basis and she helps me with my educational and social needs.
