I loved the fact that Innovation, Design, Entrepreneurship Academy is driven by personalized learning, there are flex spaces where you can sit wherever best fits you- independently, in a group collaborating, or with a peer. IDEA HS has next generation skills, which the ones that fits me the most is being a self directed learner and an innovative thinker. I'm grateful to be able to experience my high school years at IDEA HS. Thanks to this school I've had the chance to get internships, such as working in Dev Mountain and Gulfstream, which is my current job. It is awesome to be able to have that experience to work part time, still maintaining awesome grades, and being involved at this school in their extracurricular activities- the ones I am mostly a part of are DECA, Advisory Board, and Junior Achievement.

Since this school opened in 2015 I was part of the inaugural class. The cool thing about that is that you're the only ones at this school for your freshman year but only we got to experience that. This school is focused on personalized learning and has achieved on doing their best on that but it is just not possible for every single student. Our classes are small which is a good thing because our teachers can focus more on us, we get our own laptops and can even take them home to finish homework and schoolwork. Overall it is a good school, the size is small but that's what makes it great.
I really enjoy attending to Innovation Design Entrepreneurship Academy because the teachers encourage you at all times to do your best and you know that they care for you. However, I feel like we need more college guidance specially because next year we are having the first senior class graduating.
