Inlet grove is a career focused school. It gives a variety of career programs to chose from and starts to inform and educate students of that profession. This is done through lectures, public speakers and real life experiences in volunteering and field trips. To name a few there is culinary,journalism,pre-law,web design and t.v. production. With in these careers Inlet gives students to obtain a certification in their field of choice and be able to put it to use.The goal of Inlet is to leave their campus with the capability of obtaining a job. They expect above and beyond of their student by requiring that they obtain 100 volunteer hours opposed to the 25 needed in other schools. It is also a small campus that gives the opportunity to be on a first name basis with the staff.

Like all schools this school has flaws. But one thing i can stand by is the fact that my teachers wanted me to succeed. My Junior year i had a teacher that not only wanted me to pass her class with an "A" but wanted me to learn. She was so dedicated to me getting knowledge that i could carry on throughout my entire life. I've had teachers that wanted to force everything down my brain last minute for a state test; those that only cared if the pass rate for their class was good. This school cares about the life long success of the students, which is amazing.
Inlet Grove is a great school for opportunity. The teachers are supportive and takes their time out to work with you one on one just so they can see you succeed. There are plenty of careers for you to choose through so you can find out what best fits you and what makes you happy. There is plenty of clubs, sports, and activities that you can become apart of if you want to be interactive with the school and have school spirit. Its a small school so its easy for you to find your way around and have meetings with you councilors.
