I made many kind friends even though I was very much so an odd person out. I did not feel very safe in the school. I had my phone stolen multiple times, even using extensive safety measures like a lock, etc.. I also had to transfer schools and I felt as though they didn’t prepare me for that. They’re curriculum was far different than my graduating school, even though they were in the same county. I had to play catch up my next 3 years. Although they gave me an opportunity to skip the 8th grade, in hidsight, I regret doing so.

I am a junior at Inlet Grove High School. The school itself is not terrible but there are some changes I would like to make. For example, the staff here are pretty unorganized when it comes to any standardized testing as well as any school events. The staff could improve by crating actual plans instead of hitting something head on without any direction. On the contrary, the amount of resources and connections Inlet has is incredible. There are many grade acceleration programs that are available here.
Inlet Grove Community High School is at first seen as a dirty, dingy school with no hope. At times this can be true, but the school has a widespread range of programs from medical to engineering to culinary. Each student is unique and connects with each other. Because of the small size of the school, the students have no choice but to get to know each and every one of their graduating classmates and even the upper- and lower class men. And because the school is so small, colleges notice you. A 3.0 GPA is an average at Inlet Grove because the teachers and administration care. Colleges send you letters nonstop.
