As a middle schooler Ingrid B. Lacy was the perfect school to prepare children for high school. The curriculum was challenging but in a way that made me want to work harder so that I could understand it. The teachers were extremely supportive and it was evident that they wanted all of their students to succeed. The only fault I have with the school is that so many teachers left and were replaced by newer once every year so it was difficult to form long term relationships with these teachers.
It’s a terrible place to be for anyone. The staff don’t care enough to open their eyes and see what’s going on. It’s really a shame. The sexual harassment and discrimination is something an IBL student knows to well. The teachers them selves are good, but you don’t learn a thing unless your lucky.
I love IBL the teachers are so nice and I love how they encourage to keep learning and do your best. I also love the community the school has made. There is things here and there that no kid should have to experience. But I believe this is not the teacher or staffs fault it is mostly the students themselves. If the teacher tells them to stop they don’t listen and do it when they are gone. But i still love the school and teachers and staff so much.
