Infinity Institute Reviews

I had a vision of what high school was going to look like for me. I was expecting an experience like the High School Musical movies. Where you sat on the benches for lunch, went to homecoming, and watch boys play American football with cheerleaders dancing and cheering them on. However, my reality was shattered after stumbling upon Infinity Institute. This school solely focuses on academics, if you are looking for fun, aesthetic high school years, Infinity is not the place to go. Despite the fact I wanted to go home every day, the people I met here are unforgettable. The friends I made here have been great people and they are the only reason I gave up the idea of transferring. We have found ways to turn boring moments into fun. I have laughed, cried, and heal in this school. The academic expectations in this school have made me stronger, I feel ready for college. I know I will be fine no matter what happens.
The experience was good overall, the only downside was that the school was a smaller school. Due to this, there was less opportunities for extra curriculars such as sports. In the future, I would like to see the building of the school change to provide a proper gym and would also help the classroom size as well.
Infinity Institute provides a small, rigorous academic environment that helps prepare its students for college. The workload can be overwhelming at first but is possible to manage over time. The quality of their academics varies depending on the teacher. During my time in Infinity, the administration has shuffled through questionable teachers in their science departments. Diversity is outstanding but I guess that's to be expected of any school in Jersey City. One sector that they do lack is in sports and clubs which is a problem for any student wishing to shape their overall character. This can be fixed however with participation in outside organizations, classes, and hobbies.
