Infinity Early College High School Reviews
Rating 4.47 out of 5 95 reviews
Being an Infinity Early College High School student is both a rewarding and challenging experience. The deep and meaningful connections I made not only with students but with staff made me a well-rounded and sociable person. However, with the great opportunity that is receiving college education while in high school, came many trials and tribulations. It is no understatement to say that is it extremely hard to keep up with the overwhelming schoolwork. Under the surface, Infinity ECHS is quite competitive and most students want to surpass everyone else and become the very best, avoiding failure. I would like to see this ruling mindset in most students change so that Infinity ECHS becomes a place where students can learn to embrace their failures and grow from it, instead of making it their identity.
My school has a very small class, so everyone gets to know each other on some level. The teachers are friendly and will support you with whatever you may need. While the program itself is stressful, the administration allows activities to help make us more relaxed. We may not have the normal band and sports, but we have clubs that we can choose ourselves that are enjoyable. Make no mistake, this program is HARD. Many students will cry at least once during this endeavor. I myself, cried in Junior year when I had an entire year of straight classes without a break. This place is stressful and fast-paced, it is NOT something you can just sleep through. I'm proud to be a part of the school and earn my free Associate degree. I'm going to be ahead of most people my age when going into college. If I had to say what was the best part of my experience, I'm going to be cheesy and say it was finding my partner. She manages to help the stress not burst. We can easily help each other in our classes.
The school is a definition of family. Due to the student body being smaller than the average high school, students are able to properly bond and meet every student and teacher in the campus. Teachers are more than willing to help, and are happy to guide their students to success. As the principle in Infinity says, we “TCOB,” which stands for take care of business. As students from both high school and college we pick ourselves up and work up to receiving our associates degree as well as our high school degree once we graduate. Becoming the excellent image of hard-working students. It’s truly a different experience, more academic, where all your classmates are also focused to pursue their dream career and university once we graduate. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a knight in Infinity, and for the person the school help build me to be.
