IDEA is a growing school that fosters new innovators. Idea focuses heavily on engineering and design , and we learn subjects that are recognized in industry fields. CAD programs, two shop spaces, and lots of business partners to collab with.
However, the school is still just beginning ( Opened 2016). Our demographic is mostly white males. But the school is reaching to change that over the years. Since we are so small, we have a deep sense of community among one another, including the teachers, who are genuine and kind. They will help you in any way they can and they have varied backgrounds as well.

I love IDEA, it is a fun and new experience that allows me to be physically engaged while always providing something different to my experience. You even are able to visit and learn at the other 2 sister-schools (SOTA & SAMI) for even more diversity.
IDEA is a great school for students who want to go into an engineering or design career. What I like about IDEA is that every activity and project was hands on which were fun and kept me busy. I would like to see more clubs based around engineering in the future since it is an engineering school
