This is honestly an experience I would not be willing to relive. Although the people there are generally good and the students are pretty normal but there is a lot to critique. The schools main priority is academics and they prioritize it over everything else like sports, arts, and music. The teachers are really good people and most of them are OK at their jobs, they are really the main reason the school has ANY kind of diversity and clubs/events for the arts. The diversity is awful at this school. Any LGBT are attempted to be converted, there is an obvious homophobia problem. Safety is also a bigger problem than usual here. We have been threatened many times. In my time here we've been threatened with a bomb and a shooting. Most suicides here are hushed and the only death with a memorial service was a kid whose parents had ties to the administration (absolutely no disrespect to the family). In conclusion, school culture can be SIGNIFICANTLY improved here and I only hope it does soon.

It was a good school, there are good AP teachers for students that want to do good in AP exams. If you go to this school make sure you know what kind of teacher teaches certain classes because some teachers are rude and demeaning. There is some school spirit but not a lot, there should be new games and ideas for school assemblies. In this high school you will not get any type of sexual education class unless you choose the elective. The English teachers and science teachers are the best in this school, they always encourage the students to learn and grow. The school does boast of a lot of science electives. A disappointing reality of this school is that a lot of the money the school receives in aids is given to the sports facilities and so the school is lacking in technology.
Imperial High School is a school that offers many great teachers who show their passion for a particular subject. However, the low amount of subjects in the school outweighs it. The school is also rather messy and unorganised, the new gym’s ceiling is falling apart which proves to be hazardous for the students. The school also invests little money into more academic subjects and music, instead they invest on sports which is not for everyone. The school does provide potential for its excellent students and teachers, but the cons seem to outweigh the benefits.
