The school is a relativly good school especially when compared to others in the area. the admin is a bit iffy sometimes and some teachers are questionable.
I like that the school is smaller and that means that the administration has more time and energy to make the curriculum individualized and tailored to each student.
This school is very good if you’re looking to prioritize your studies and find good teachers who will focus on your academic and keep you focused for your future.
I first started out at Imagine as a freshman, and that was during the COVID year. The online experience was fairly easy and then I went back in person the next year. The resources there are limited, the work that was given was on the level of middle school and not accelerated in any way, there’s a lack of funding for certain sports teams and they clearly favorite some more than others. There also isn’t as much diversity as people think. However, the teachers there were very pleasant to work with and I would love to be in some of their classes again. The administration should take more opinions from the students about things that need to change, I feel like they’d benefit from that a lot.
Although the school is small and there are not that many resources for students, there are many great teachers who care about their students and go out of their way to help. What the school lacks in size and funding, makes up for with community and its teachers. There is also a library right next to the school.
A smaller school, but the teachers were great and that classes were smaller so I was able to get the help I needed. I liked the campus and how it was spread out so I could walk outside between classes. I had plenty of opportunities to join clubs or music.
This is a good school if you like tight-knit communities. It would be better if the school offered more class options, but it's a good place to attend if you live nearby. Decent clubs and sport opportunities.
Imagine is great! The teachers and staff really care about you as a student. The facilities are great, and the students are very nice and welcoming. Overall, I would definitely recommend Imagine to a friend.
Yes, Imagine is a smaller school, but there are just as many opportunities here as most larger public schools. Here, I have been able to make a name for myself, know a large chunk of my classmates, teachers, and staff, and be a role model and leader in my community. It's common to be a small fish in a big pond at most schools, but at Imagine you can be somebody to someone, do big things, and be a leader.
I love that it's a small school, so you kinda know everyone. I hope that they will have better classes like welding, baking class, wood shop and much more that other schools have.
My experience here is fantastic. The students are well behaved and fun, the teachers actually teach their lessons and the Spanish level 1 teacher Ms Weston is awesome. But most teachers punish students for no reason or if you slightly offend the other kids. You can barley use the bathroom, you aren't allowed to call your parent with your own phone, the young marines act like they own the place, and it just kinda sucks. But Ms Weston, Mr Horin, Ms Scarlett, and Mr Cole are awesome.
My overall experience at imagine high school has been a very helpful and fun experience. There are some time where I felt one or more of the teachers were disrespectful to certain students and that the targeted them but overall the school its self is very helpful with getting student connected through technology and with Covid they've been one of the best in North Port and in Port Charlotte
Imagine School has given me so many opportunities as a student to reach any goal that I had. The staff is amazing and truly cares about their students.
I would have to say that, so far, my years at Imagine have been absolutely great. Looking back at my fifth grade year, I remember thinking "Oh no. Mom, please don't send me to Imagine. I don't know anyone there and all my friends are going to the other school. It's so small and we have to wear those awful uniforms." My claims seemed so legitimate in my mind, but now I think about what my life would've been like if I hadn't gone to Imagine. The students at Imagine are overall nicer and much friendlier than I ever expected them to be. In fact, because of my friends, I now play on the varsity volleyball team-which I never dreamed I'd ever do. I've learned so much through all the teachers at Imagine. They have all been so patient and helpful, and looking back, I see how much they've done.It would be unrealistic to say that everything was all sunshine and roses for me at Imagine, but I just have to give all the thanks to God for working things out for me at that school.
I have been at Imagine since kindergarten and I think that the school offers some amazing opportunities in the form of clubs and dual enrollment through SCF venice.
Imagine was a very small school with a tight knit group between teachers and students. It made learning easier because of all the one on one interactions.
I liked Imagine School at North Port's elementary and high school because of the teachers and sports. The teachers were very caring, nice and they liked to help and teach you. The high school experience was also great, I made a lot of friends and met a lot of great teachers.
