iLEAD offers many personalized programs for students to ensure their success in school. Children with disorders and disabilities are accomidated in the right space for learning. With various clubs and organizations a student develops a secure community with everyone around; however courses are still prioritized. There are many options for classes including online, in person, or through zoom. Parents have full access to their own portals so they can see their child's progress. Educational Facilitators are placed for each child and meetings are help every 20-25 days for tutoring and progress reports. Counselors and college advisors are extremely helpful for seniors and provide insight information on colleges and careers. School dances and activites are open for everyone to attend. iLEAD has many campuses with different programs in cities like Acton, Lancaster, and Costa Mesa. Each one offers different programs but they all have one mission at the end of the day to ensure student success.
My educational facilitator is really great. My teachers are able to provide me with the education that fits perfectly for me. I am able to take all the dance classes that I want and I am able to take many classes at the college level which will help me in the long run. I get to pursue my interests and am backed by my parents and my teachers. I am a part of NHS and I am able to serve my community while learning how to become a good leader. I think that ilead should have more opportunities for kids to be on sports teams and stuff like that. There should be dance teams, cheer teams, football, basketball, soccer, baseball, and other sports. However, ilead does offer many clubs that kids can be a part of. At ilead you also get an academic advisor that helps you navigate through your high school years and a college counselor that helps you prepare for college. I am so glad that I am a part of ilead and am able to use it for my homeschooling journey.
Becoming a part of a homeschooling organization has been amazing, and honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made. My time is more flexible, I have more time to participate in other extra-curriculum activities, that I wasn't apart of before, and I'm able to learn more about myself, by enjoying the thing I love to do (all while keeping up with my studies and maintaining a 3.74 GPA.
