Wonderful school environment. Amazing teachers, faculty, and staff. Felt very prepared for college. Got a lot of support from the school, and was able to participate in a variety of extracurriculars, from academic teams, to sports, to the school play, and more.
Very unorganized school. Girls are very clique-y. A lot of teachers don’t put enough effort to ensure their students succeed. Also, the administration has a way to ensure to make you feel like you like an outsider. Finally, you always feel like you are surrounded in an environment where the school doesn’t want you to further your education or career.
Peer pressure in this school is not a problem--if there is peer pressure, it is only pressure to do the right thing. Additionally, acceptance by students is exceptional--no one cares where or what type of background anyone comes from, and therefore everyone is friends with everyone.
The extracurricular opportunities at this school are limited, but growing each year. Some clubs include pre-professional clubs such as mock-trial, pre-medical society, etc, while some after-school activities include volunteer work and sports such as basketball, softball, and soccer.
This school is really one of a kind. The students and teachers help every student out and the relationships between students and teachers is also unique and individualized. If I could do it all over again, I would still choose this school, except with a more positive attitude since it is such an amazing and unique school environment.
