IHSCA is a great school! Especially the extra programs and internships that help you get different experiences. For instance I'm interested in the Medical Field so since freshman year I have been a part of Rush University, & the University of Chicago. IHSCA gives you the push and exposure you need to find what you like to do in general and career wise.

Once you are part of the Phoenix family, you feel welcomed. This school may not have all the things needed like a gym, auditorium and much more, but when it comes to academics it is a different story. IHSCA will push you to work hard, you will be able to take rigorous course at IHSCA. They will make sure you are receiving the best possible education needed for you to succeed. Something else IHSCA does greatly is provide you with the best safety there is. Once you leave IHSCA, IHSCA will still be concerned about you. IHSCA being a small High School, you tend to know everyone. This makes everything more easier, since teachers know you better and your academic counselor does, makes a better focus setting than any other school.
As a rising college freshman, I can be the one to say that this school is great in certain criterias. It is a school that has many resources for those interested in the medical/health field and it makes sense because it is a medical/health/science focused school! Attending here made me become more independent in the sense that you have to reach out to teachers and staff to receive help. Overall, they have great partnerships which will help those interested in the fields above but even if you are not interested in those fields they leave room for other opportunities. It is through those opportunities that I have grown as a student and as a person.
