Ignite Middle School Reviews
Rating 1 out of 5 1 review
Attractive concept and vision but the execution is terrible. Our child was excited to attend Ignite because of the PL Prep concept and the principal and teachers were impressive during the tour.
What we experienced was a disaster. Bad student behavior goes completely unchecked. Bullying is rampant and the language used by students, openly in front of teachers, is atrocious. My child was consistently bullied by groups of kids to the point where we had to file a report. Test scores suffered. There were some great teachers but they've since left the school. I'm not surprised. We moved our child to a new school this year where my child is getting along well with other students and test scores are back up.
It's a shame about Ignite because they have a good concept. However, they are not able to execute it and they have lost all control of student behavior. They don't even try anymore. The school environment is way too chaotic to facilitate a positive learning experience.
