I regret I cannot give ICA 5 stars because they do offer a solid Christian curriculum. So there is that. And most teachers have been very kind & helpful. The problem is this: TOO MUCH busy work! In a brick & mortar school, the teachers typically access how much content/material is included in the curriculum vs. how many weeks/months are in the school year. Then they develop their lesson plans accordingly. For example, they realize they can't fit every detail the text has, so they'll help focus on the meat of it; the highlights. And thoughtful teachers don't overwork students so they'll instruct students to answer the even OR odd questions at the end of the chapter. Conversely, ICA piles daily work on including quizzes, tests, research papers, & time-consuming projects encompassing what the student's already been tested over. It's a LOT! So though the material is solid, it's just too much for both my elementary & high school-aged children to balance family time etc. They work all day!
Ignite Christian school is Jesus centered Christian school. Their teachers love the Lord and tried to get the students involved as much as possible. The French teacher is awesome. I booked the conversation lessons with her and we had many fun time together.
The school courses has been organized very well. With the reminders of how much the homework has been finished and in what percentage I need to catch up with the deadlines, I am able to arrange my academic learning and other activities evenfully.
The starting time is flexible. That helps me to finish the courses as fast as possible. I would prefer to graduate a year earlier so I can save my time for golf which is my passion. With ICA's help my goal to play at NCAA DIV 1 Varsity is not too far to achieve. Probably I will chase my dream to play as a pro in the future.
The online course fits my golf training and traveling plan perfectly. I recommend this school to anyone whose goal is to take their games seriously.

Ignite Christian Academy has a great curriculum. I was pulled out of public high school after my Freshman year and have been with ICA for three years now, starting my Sophomore year. The curriculum is way more challenging than that of public high school, and I love being able to work at my own pace. However, I feel like the staff need to better communicate certain facts about the dual-credit and AP classes they offer. I had multiple staff fail to tell me that I needed to purchase a textbook for my AP Calculus AB class because I didn't know if the class would include an online version (nothing was stated about either thing in the course syllabus). I found out the day I started school I needed to purchase a physical copy. Again, communication between faculty and parents and students needs to be improved.
