I was at Ideaventions from 7th grade through 12th grade, and it was a phenomenal experience. The teachers give high quality, engaging lessons. Roughly half of the classes are project based, even the English classes, something that I think is great when it comes to learning how to work effectively. The engineering classes are all hands on, where the classwork revolves around designing and building systems. The math curriculum is deep and efficient, the teachers present the information in an efficient manner that gets at the core axioms of a concept which us students then extrapolated and implemented in order to solve problems, a method I find to be far superior to the traditional approach of memorizing steps to solve problems.
The clubs! These were the best part of the school, and there are all kinds of fun clubs. A few of my favorites were the Naturalist club, Inventor's club, Math Honors Society, Dungeons and Dragons club, and the Sysadmin club. I 100% recommend this school.

The curriculum is thoughtful, encourages critical thinking and think outside the box. While the school has a strong focus in math and science, my child is getting a well rounded education with classes in Language Arts, History, Community, etc., electives in art, foreign languages and history of food as well as after school fun like drama, sports and animal lovers clubs!
The daily updates are informative detailing by class what my child did that day and I like the sneak peak on what the higher grade levels are learning/reading/doing.
The teachers encourage the students to advocate for themselves but they are always on hand to help!
My child has developed strong friendships with kids at various grade levels which shows that there is a common comradery and closeness in this community.
The best review I can give comes from my child who says that Ideaventions Academy "is the best school ever!" and we wholeheartedly agree.

We appreciate the enriched and challenging curriculum, focused classes and block schedule, and the opportunity to select electives (in lower school!). Our daughter loves the students, the teachers, and the community it provides. She is with like-minded students who are curious and eager to be in an active-learning environment. The teachers in the school are truly committed to your child's development and well-being--they know our daughter. Feedback we receive is highly personalized, thoughtful, and actionable. The teachers are subject matter experts, trained in their disciplines who also love to teach, and are really good at it. They challenge the students yet are engaging and inspiring which builds confidence. The school directors are committed to the mission of the school, and every decision they make is intentional and with the best interest of the kids in mind. Everyday, we are grateful she is there--engaged, focused on what matters--and in love with learning.
