At Idea North Mission students are motivated to reach their best potential however, at times there lacks materials to become that best version. For example, due to a budget cut this 2023-2024 school year, no transportation for after school programs are available. Extraarticular activities are as important as academic enrichment, my school provides the best tools to study but not to expand one's abilities outside of the book's pages.
I have no specific good thing or bad thing to share about this school, the only thing I can really think about is the lack of classes you have available.
Idea North Mission focuses on helping young students achieve their most significant potential by giving them the resources to tear down barriers that keep them from breaking the cycle of low-income families. At Idea I learned academically and socially how to be a good classmate, leader, and person.
I had been in Idea North Mission College Prep since 6th grade .The schools has had many ups and down. The school response to covid was extraordinary by offering technology to student to continue studies. Tech support and food support during quarantine .My high school overall has been great academically. The schools encourages students to take AP classes and offers great resources to pass the exams. The teachers overall have a good relationship with the students. Something i would change is the budget for sports and extracurricular activities. Morale is important to keep the grades up. Creating a good sports atmosphere encourages students to keep grades up and excites students to come to school. Extracurricular activities boost overall morale.
Look let be clear this school has been great and has done nothing but to prepare me for life in college, though at time it can be incredibly stressful. But i can't really blame the admin nor the teachers, they've really made my entire journey a lot saner. The teacher love what they do, and you can really tell by the way they teach. Every time I'm in any class of mine I always learn something new even if I had already known what they were teaching. Overall, 10/10 would definitely enjoy doing this all over again.
Overall being enrolled at IDEA North Mission College Prep has been one of the best things that has happened to me , I have made great friendships and have created a bond with every teacher that I’ve had for the past 6 years of being a warrior . My college counselors have made a huge impact in my college decisions and they have ensured that I attend the best university for me.
The best thing about the school is the principle. The teachers are alright but the thing that is most annoying is that there is always something on the news about IDEA North Mission. Also the school dose not get as much funding as others and because of the the senior year has not felt like a regular school senior year.
Great school. Teachers, administrators, and stakeholders are amazing. Very grateful to be a part of IDEA. Would highly recommend to others.
this school is ok if your goal is to be college bound and are sure what you want they assure you that you need everything you need to go in and are really supportive of everything
