Idea Edinburg prepares students to go to and through college. Having students getting prepared before entering high school. They have college field lessons where students are taken to colleges to visit them and get them ready to work hard in high school. There is not enough motivation for students to feel good about attending school everyday.

I love this school the people are very welcoming and are always willing to help you out .Starting out in a new school can be hard but Idea Edinburg was more a place of learning to me .I developed friendships and live for learning and I can only thank Idea for my passion.

Idea Edinburg has to improve its facilities by adding a gym. It offers a lot of resources to the students but lacks the functionality of facilities. I want for this school to offer more activities for the its kids like other Idea schools.

This school has been very helpful the time I have been here all the students and the teachers have been very nice with everyone. Since it is not a very big school all the students and the teachers have a really good relationship with each other.

Just like any other high school it has its ups and downs. I love the teachers and the experiences i have had, but the campus needs its own gym and cafeteria separate from boys and girls club.

Over the past 7 years I have been a student at IDEA Edinburg. Like any other school, it has it's ups and downs over the years. Overall, I have enjoyed my experience as an IDEA student. As a school, the teachers are incredible, and every experience I have had has ended positively. My main complaint is the lack of a gym and cafeteria that is owned by the school for the students in middle school or higher.

What i liked the most about IDEA Edinburg Academy was the independence and freedom the gave us toward our individual learning. Moreover, everything we did was at our own pace, modelling college life. What I would like for them to change would be the amount of staff they had. There was only a few and sometimes we didn't have a teacher for some areas.

The school lunch is still dreadful. The security guard is abusive. The AP English teacher is very patient with the students. She believes the students should fully understand the concept instead of simply passing the AP exam. The coach is very judgmental and favorites her Power lifting team. She doesn't put enough effort on the soccer team simply because she doesn't play. The other sports get to go out and eat, unlike soccer.

reason for loving my school, is because no matter what you are considered team and family. I've grown with my fellow classmates till I was 11 till now I'm 17. 6th to 11th, and more to come. the teacher have your back and are completely understanding and push you to be the best you can ever be.
