It is a wonderful school and it is a good community and it is love with the teachers and students and staff
Great school , great advance subjects , great teachers and counselors. Overall great school to advance my studies.
This is a great school to go to, your children can learn so much here in idea and they even get your kids ready for college.
The school is no different from any other district schools. Sports are not as major as in ISD schools and class size is smaller. With that being said, one thing they do really differ from is their willingness to matriculate students to college no matter the circumstances, and especially in this school, teachers are more optimistic and determined to help us prior to the exam and even as a future knowledge.
Its a good school they push you to attend collage and help you keep up your grades they make us wear uniforms to prepare us for jobs and to look professional this school is a good school to attend if your focus on your future academically.
While the curriculum wasn't very challenging, the help that I received from my college counselors and my college based courses helped me find the University which I am at now. I am very grateful for the guidance that I received in my journey to, and now through college. The faculty there made me feel that I was getting the most amount of help possible in that regard. Whether it be in my college applications, or helping me choose which university would be for me. Their counseling team is unmatched in help.
Idea has created an environment formed to grow and learn great skills, preparation for college, open up my mind to know new place, grow higher in education, leadership skills, professional skills, and ect.
Great school overall, most teachers care about their students but are pressured by the administration a lot. The school has a lot of programs that are very beneficial.
The structure and order of which day to day education proceeds rivals that of a courtroom. When you enter IDEA San Benito, you are immediately met with welcome arms and warm smiles, which foreshadows the excellency of what you should expect in every single classroom. Teachers have full control of the flow of instruction, and the students are more than willing to learn.
Idea San Benito challenges students by implementing college level education and college preparation classes.
While I didn't go through the Academy myself, I have friends whose siblings go there, and I've helped the Academy organize events and such. It's an excellent part of our IDEA Campus that prepares children for college. The teachers are wonderful and consistently keep the parents notified of what's going on.
I liked that they assist you greatly in preparing for college and applying. I had some issues through the year with bullying and how the administration handled situations but for the most part it’s a school I would recommend. They even help you with field lesson trips to visit colleges so we can see the campus first hand. They pay for ACT multiple times and have a class devoted to ACT to ensure all students are having the potential to get accepted in their match and fit school.
When it comes to being a student at Idea San Benito, I love how they've always been there to push myself academically and simply been there to guide me. Not only that but the culture itself is practically a mini college campus.
From coming to IDEA, I have learned about college experience and the necessity of college. Teachers, administrators, and counselors care about students and remind them that college is a big part of what our school prepares for us.
Here at Idea san benito when I first arrived as a freshman I felt so welcomed and everybody was so out there. Throughout the years I made acquaintances but I also made one real friend Martha. She is one of the realest girls I have ever. She always has my back. Friends are one thing, and another I experienced was the culture of idea and everything that comes with it. I also had to get used to something new because idea is a charter school which is half private and half public it meant we had to use uniforms. Of course I realized the transition of going to a public school to a charter was gonna be new, but everything that came with the school I had to try and get used to it.
I have a better education through this school and I could not have received better opportunities and support.
When I moved to IDEA in 6th grade, I was nervous and shy but the awesome teachers and kind students quickly broke me out of my shell. Because of the fact that I have a class of less than 100 students, we are now all closely knit, which is something I love most about my school. I love that our counselors and teachers do anything to prepare us for the real world and they are always supporting us in our college decisions. Our school spirit has done nothing but grow more and more as we realize what a great school IDEA is and what amazing people are surrounding us.
