My experience at Idaho Falls High School was honestly amazing! I met many of my good friends at that school, and had many good experiences in the process. I was able to choose the classes I wanted to take, and so was given the freedom to select the classes that interested me the most. The teachers were amazing, and so were my coaches for sports. The only complaints that I have against my experience were definitely the way the parents interacted with the coaches and teachers. Many parents would revolt against coaches to get them fired and try and appoint the one they wanted for the job. I thought that it created a semi-toxic environment for the sports. Overall a fantastic school, and I am grateful for my time there.
I loved how nice the teachers were. They are very understanding and were always there to help! For example, my math teacher was always there helping us for our next steps in life not just to teach us math. She was an awesome teacher and person. One thing I would change is getting a new school. Our school was built in the late 1800s so it is very old. We have been trying to pass a bond but it won’t seem to pass. Us students are very compact in that school and it can make it difficult to learn.
I had a great experience at Idaho Falls High School. I was a member of the marching band for 3 years and it was great going out and competing with other schools. I never had a bad experience there. Regardless of what some students thought the teachers are actually really good, and I loved them all. Even if they were a little rude sometimes. I also was able to transfer credits from there because I took a class from CSI while I was attending and that went off without a hitch. My teacher was amazing it didn't even feel like a college class because she did it so well. Daily quizzes to keep us on our toes and daily assignments to keep us going. I passed Math 143/144 with an A because of her.
